A long time admirer of antique and vintage textiles, most notably French and German grain sacks with their beautiful tar stencils, I have collected them at every opportunity. Over the years I've transformed more than I can count into homespun furnishings including pillows, lap blankets and upholstery panels.
Each time, I photographed the design to preserve a record for myself and now I use that same library to recreate artisan pieces on rustic European linen. I hand burnish each print in my New Haven County studio before tailoring it to an exacting standard. Like the originals, they are a living craftwork which will fade and patina, becoming more lovely the longer you enjoy them.
My work has been featured in Period Living and Victoria Magazines and can be found in thoughtfully curated boutiques throughout the United States and Europe.
